Explore The World But Find Home Inside

by Nikki Cornfield  - August 15, 2023

Life for me has always been a series of adventures, somehow I’ve always been curious to know what was ‘out there.’ ????????
It seemed that no matter what I did I couldn’t settle that restless urge to roam.
“For goodness sake what is it you are looking for?” my husband often asked.
“I don’t know,  but I’ll tell you when I find it.” was my answer.
I was like one of those animals with an itch, I just still had that one little spot I had to reach…????
So until ‘Down Under’ ???????????? gives me the freedom to roam again I’ve been using the time wisely to explore within.
And of course indulge my love of writing  about travel!
‘The Soul’s Compass. ‘???? ‘A Traveller’s Way Home.’ Is the culmination of all my wisdom. This lifetime, before and beyond.
It’s the exploration of how intuition and soul guidance opened doors to travel, insights, health, healing and everything in between. ????
“Living in Malaysia each morning I slid open the glass doors exposing the wide open plan spaces of our home to the tropical wildlife outside. It allowed the natural flow of air and of course bugs to fly in, and out at will.
But when the tropical rains ☔️ arrived at night we ran around the house pulling doors across knowing the speed at which the jungle outside came alive.
Bugs ???? of unimaginable sizes would emerge from their hiding places and bombard the glass doors in their thousands, happy to be wet and alive.
Deadly snakes ???? seeking an escape from the wet fields next door waited for gaps to slither inside.
The nocturnal chorus was deafening; the cicadas, the loudest insects in the world singing together in harmony alongside the motor frogs revving their engines like a bunch of distant motorbikes revving their engines.
Black bats ???? swooped down attracted by the pool lights, and made touch down with their toes before lifting off again.
It was like living in a free zoo with an orchestra tuning up in the background.
Our home in Malaysia is forever etched on my memory as being a time I felt so inspired and connected with nature.
And where the seeds of this book were first planted.????????.

Wow The Energies Are Right Up There
