It is beautiful not only on the surface but also deep within. Why…. we cannot live without it, we would not exist. It is so simple and yet so beautiful, this nature that we took for granted and looked elsewhere. But indeed its just right outside our door, underneath us, look up and you will see it anywhere, look North, South, East, West. We are only a passenger passing this planet so fast and yet we ignore all these countless beauties.
I bet for some they didn’t know or get to see these wonders and animals that even existed before in their lifetime!
Recently I watched or attempted to watch Sir David Attenborough’s latest film- A life on our planet
I got half way through and cried so much I couldn’t watch it through.
According to David Attenborough there will be another mass extinction in 2100’s if we continue the way we are
I will let that land and sink in…..
In my very short lifetime I have witnessed drastic devastating human impact on nature.
As a flight attendant I was the first to land in places that were untouched by tourism.
I was the first to land in places that just found oil and brought suitcases of cheeses and wine back that had never left the country before.
I never expected today that my children would never get to do the same.
So over time we have done everything we can at home to completely eliminate toxicity. We recycle, reuse and make what we eat from scratch. Once I knew that what we rolled on or sprayed on was putting chemicals in our body it all went in the bin.
